Scotland - Fife to Edinburgh

As we entered the grounds of Edinburgh Castle we passed large blue stands being set up for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo due to be held the next week. We were interested to know that David I built St Margaret’s Chapel in this castle around 1130, as a tribute to his devout mother. Remember Queen Margaret built Dunfermline Abbey in the 11th century (earler photos).
